Facial Gua Sha Ritual
Enhance your skincare rituals with mtm labo white jade massager. It is an ancient practice known to promote lymphatic drainage, stimulate blood circulation and improve overall face contour. When practiced regularly, it can help you to achieve a radiant and youthful look.
When performing a Facial Gua Sha, make sure your face is well-lubricated to allow the tool glide across the face easily and avoid excessive pulling.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic drainage massage can help to drain excess fluid, promotes blood flow and brighten the skin when practiced regularly.
Apply an appropriate amount of custom-blended moisturizers such as custom-blended nutriment moisturizer or custom-blended oils such as custom-blended lightness mix and custom-blended relieving oil on your face. Start at the middle of your forehead, applying gentle pressure to slowly scrape the skin down toward the ear then to the lymph nodes in your neck to promote lymphatic drainage and avoid toxins build-up.
Repeat 3 times for each part and gradually move down to the cheek and chin areas.
Tips: Always working upward and outward from the middle of the face toward the ears and move all the way down to the neck and shoulder.
Lifting and Firming Massage
Improve your face contour through a very simple facial gua sha massage. With regular use, these steps will help to tone and tighten your skin, making your face appear slimmer and more sculpted.
To get a more luminous look, you may also consider using custom-blended re-white cream or custom-blended reishi moisturizer to help brighten up your skin and even out your complexion.
Start at the neck and work your way up to the forehead. Use the wider part of the gua sha tool and perform an upward motions on the neck, then upward and outward motions on the jawline and cheek areas.
Repeat 3 times for each area and gradually move up to the next area. End with an upward motions on the forehead to the hairline to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.
Acupressure points for eyes
Massage the acupoints around the eyes to relieve eyes tension and headaches, improve eyesight, reduce dark eye circles and puffiness. Begin from top inner to the outer side of the eyes. Then from outer side to lower inner side of eyes. Gently press the tail of the gua sha tool on an acupoint and massage each point for 5-10 seconds, then release and move on to the next point.
Keep a slow, deep breathing during this process to help the cells of your eyes receive the oxygen which is vital for healing.
Things to aware:
- Press only along the bony ridges above your eyes and infraorbital ridge bone below your eyes
- Never press on the eyeball
- Don’t do acupressure on tear skin around eye, or serious eye infection
- If unwell, please stop and seek medical advice
- Drink warm water after acupressure to help toxins to release from body
